An Inconvenient Truth
This film was made about Al Gore's presentation on climate change, which he's presented in cities all over the world. The accuracy of the science is only deniable by those who have a defective brain - and by those who have no conscience and a financial incentive for protecting corporate polluters.
As Pat and I watched this film and heard Gore talk about his travels to the North and South poles, and everywhere in between, to see for himself the effects civilization is having on our planet, we had to wonder how different the world would be today - and how different America's international reputation would be - if George Bush and the GOP machine had not stolen the 2000 presidential election.
Gore would have made a far better president - by several orders of magnitude. We would have had an intelligent president instead of an arrogant fool, and the U.S. would have taken an active role in saving the planet - instead of 8 years being wasted in the most important battle humanity will ever wage.
